The University endeavours to make bursaries available to students for postgraduate studies.

Applicants are advised to start negotiations with the University and the Faculty,
not later than May prior to the year of the proposed study to apply for a bursary or to be considered for a grant.

Applicants should contact the Department of Research Capacity Development who will provide useful information and the latest news about other sources of funding for Master’s, Doctoral and postdoctoral research.

The student’s supervisor/promoter will also provide more information on possible grants and NRF funding.
